Tupelo Community Theatre will hold auditions for the southern dramedy Steel Magnolias, by Robert Harling, on Sunday, December 12 at 2 p.m. and Monday, December 13 at 6:00 pm in the rehearsal hall of the Lyric Theatre, 201 N. Broadway in downtown Tupelo.

Filled with hilarious repartee and not a few acerbic but humorously revealing verbal collisions the women of Steel Magnolias draw on their underlying strength and love. The play, and its characters, share a unique quality that make them truly touching, funny and marvelously amiable company in good times and bad.

The cast consist of women eighteen and older and no advanced preparation is required. The play will be directed by Jonathan Martin and production dates are March 10-12, 2022. For more information email [email protected] or call the TCT office at 662-844-1935.
