TCT Scholarships

Tupelo Community Theatre offers four $500 scholarships each year.  Applications must be received in the Business Office no later than April 15.  A panel from the TCT Scholarship Committee and Board of Directors makes the final selection.  Recipients are notified by June 1.

Students must complete at least 12 hours each semester (or its equivalent if on the quarter system) and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.  You may download the SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION here or from the TCT Business Office at 201 N. Broadway.

The Liveakos Scholarship is offered each year to a graduating Tupelo High School Senior who has demonstrated scholastic achievement and an aptitude for the dramatic arts.  Students planning to graduate early in the same calendar year may apply.

TCT offers a $500 Martha Geddie Memorial Scholarship each year to a Mississippi student currently enrolled in college with full time student status majoring in speech, oral communications, drama, mass media and/or related fields. Selection is based on achievements in the performing arts and general scholarship.

TCT also offers B. J. Huddleston Memorial Art Scholarship, an annual $500 scholarship recognizing a graduating Tupelo High School Senior who has demonstrated artistic ability, academic achievement, leadership and good citizenship. Students planning to graduate early in the same calendar year may apply.

In 2011 TCT added the Jess Mark Scholarship to a Mississippi high school student who has had involvement with the Tupelo Community Theatre.  The scholarship is $500 per year.  Students planning to graduate early in the same calendar year may apply.
