Summer Youth Theatre Godspell Jr

Tupelo Community Theatre will present its Summer Youth Theatre production of Godspell Jr, Book by John Michael Tebelak, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, July 15 and 16 at 7:30 pm and July 17 at 2 pm.  Prepare ye for the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty and love based on the Broadway musical that inspired a generation and based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew.  Ticket are $10 for adults and $5 for students and younger and the show will be performed at TCT Off Broadway. 213 East Franklin Street.  For more Information or to purchase tickets call 662-844-1935. 

Auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong

Tupelo Community Theatre will hold auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong, by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, on Wednesday, June 23rd and Thursday, June 24th at 6pm at the Lyric Theatre.  The cast is made up of 8 men and 2 women ages  21 and up.

The Play That Goes Wrong is a hilarious, farcical murder mystery, play-within-a-play, where everything that can go wrong does and the accident-prone thespians battle to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences.

Something Rotten tickets on sale now!

Tickets on sale June 7th for Something Rotten!

Tupelo Community Theatre will present Something Rotten June 17-19 at 7:30 pm and 2 pm on the 19th at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo. 

The Lyric will be back to 100% capacity and tickets for season members are being mailed. The box office is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The musical, which was nominated for ten Tony awards, tells of two brothers, Nick and Nigel, who set out to write the world’s first musical in this hilarious mash-up of sixteenth-century Shakespeare and twenty-first-century Broadway. 

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and the show is PG13.
