Auditions for Arsenic and Old Lace
Tupelo Community Theatre will hold auditions for the classic “Arsenic and Old Lace” on Monday, December 7, 2020, and Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 6:00 PM at the Lyric Theatre at 201 N. Broadway in Downtown Tupelo. This show is a farcical “dark” comedy about the Brewster family. Mortimer, a drama critic, must deal with his crazy, murderous family and local police in Brooklyn, New York. The cast is composed of 1 female aged 21-35; 2 females aged 55+; and 11 males aged 25+. No advanced preparation is required. Production dates are January 28, 29 and 30, 2021 with rehearsals beginning in mid-December. Tupelo Community Theatre will present Elf the Musical, book by Thomas Meehan Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, November 30, December 1, 3, 4, and 5 at 7:30 with a matinee on the 5th at 2 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo. Based on the beloved New Line Cinema holiday film by David Berenbaum, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. Final three performances of Little Shop of Horrors
TCT is happy to announce the three final performances of Little Shop of Horrors are scheduled for November 3, 4, & 5th at 7:30 p.m.
If you already have tickets for the postponed shows you must email [email protected] or call the box office at 662-844-1935 to select which performance you would like to attend.
If you get the voice mail just leave your name, phone number and what night you want to exchange your tickets for and we will call you back asap.
TCT will be required to seat patrons with distance between each group for the show. All safety protocols are still in effect. The Lyric will be hydrostatically cleaned before and after each performance.
