TCT Actors' Workshop

Theatre Workshop - Geared toward Teachers and Community Theatres October 2-3, 2009 in Tupelo, MS.
Register online at:  http://www.mta-online.org   Are you looking for an opportunity to learn more about theatre arts?  Are you looking for a means of networking with others from around the State that have a similar interest in theatre?  Does your theatre program need additional expertise in lighting, set construction, grant writing, or curriculum development?  Interested in seeing the location of the 2010 MTA Festival?
If you said yes to any of these questions, the Mississippi Theatre Association’s Theatre Workshop is for you!  The two-day event is geared toward teachers and community theatre leaders and volunteers alike.  Rather than hosting 2 different workshops this year we are hosting a combined workshop for both communities – theatre teachers and community theatre members.     For More Information visit http://www.mta-online.org

TCT sponsors a variety of workshops including a Theatre Camp for young people, mini-workshops on lighting, makeup, set design and construction, and costume, and such events as an Actor's Workshop which featured Anthony Herrera.

All of these workshops are designed to promote the dramatic arts and improve upon the production qualities of the plays we perform. If you're interested in a particular subject, and think TCT should consider sponsoring a workshop for it, send e-mail to Tom Booth.
