TCT Wins SETC

\n\nTupelo Community Theatre was presented the 2015 Outstanding Production award for Lone Star at the Southeastern Theatre Conference Community Theatre Festival in Chattanooga, viagra order purchase TN.  Actor John McCustion was presented an Outstanding Achievement in Acting award for his portrayal of Ray in the show.  Jamie Fair as Roy and Nathan Taylor as Cletus complete the cast.  The show received the Spirit of the Road award given by the host theatre’s production staff for TCT’s professionalism.   This was the second year in a row TCT won the festival taking home the top honor for The Santaland Diaries in 2014 in Mobile.  Both productions were produced at the groups newest venue, buy nurse remedy TCT Off Broadway Theatre.\n\nJason West was the original director of Lone Star.  Tom Booth and Lynn Nelson served as festival directors, site prostate with Tracie Maxey Conwill as assistant director/stage manager. TCT Winner at MTA for Fourth Year in a row!

\n\nOver the last four days, remedy viagra MTA 2015 Festival attendees had a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and showcase theatre in Mississippi.  The Festival brought to the University of Mississippi 7 community theatre productions, case 8 high school productions, try 2 staged readings of new original works, 7 10-Minute Plays, 7 Theatre for Youth productions, and over 100 entries in Individual Events.  During the festival  over 70 student participate in College/University auditions.  There were 17 schools in attendance; 9 community theatres represented at the festival; and 12 colleges/universities participate in College/University Auditions.\n\nThe winners of the Warren McDaniel Award for Best Production went to Tupelo Community Theatre’s production of Lone Star and Starkville Community Theatre’s production of A Catered Affair.  \n\nOther TCT winners were:\n\nJamie Fair- Best Actor\n\nJohn McCustion-Best Supporting Actor\n\nNathan Taylor-All-Star Cast\n\nSuzanne Oakley-Winner of both Solo singing and acting awards in Individual Events.\n\nMickey Gousset-Second Place in Solo singing.\n\nTCT  was presented Best Scenic Design, an award it has won for the last 3 years.\n\nThe Lone Star cast and crew will represent Mississippi at the Southeastern Theatre Conference March 4-8 in Chattanooga, TN.\n\nCongrats to all.\n\n
