Theatrical Lighting Workshop

\n\n\nHave you ever wanted to know how the magic of theatre is created? Well, discount help here’s your chance to step behind the curtain and learn how some of that magic is created with lighting. Tupelo Community Theatre will present hands-on lighting workshop on August 6th beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Lyric Theatre. If you are interested in learning more about lighting design, maintenance, and operation this is for you. Suzye Sheffield and Bronwyn Teague will lead the work session. Lunch will be provided as well as music, food and beverages at the conclusion of the session. To sign up or for more information contact 844-1935.

TCT Theatre Camp

Note- TCT has a waiting list for the morning session and only a few slots for the afternoon.Please call us before you mail any additional applications.

Tupelo Community Theatre’s Theatre Camp will be July 11-15 at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo. Theme for the camp will be “Jeepers Creepers: A Children’s Mystery”. Students who will be in grades 1st – 8th in the fall will receive instruction in drama,  music,  and art by professional educators. Campers will present a free production on Friday July 15th for the public. Cost is $100 for TCT members and for families with more than one sibling attending. Non-member cost is $125. Game Night at TCT Off Broadway

TCT Off Broadway will present its first Game Night on July 14 at 7 p.m. at 213 East Franklin. Included in the night of competition will be games such as Ticket to Ride, unhealthy ampoule Settlers of Catan, sildenafil troche Carcasonne, Pandemic, Dixit, Love Letter, Cards Against Humanity, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Resistance, Wits and Wagers, Formula D, Werewolf, Clue, Pictionary and a few surprises. Door prizes will be awarded. Tickets are $10 and include 4 beverage tickets. Cash bar available. To reserve your tickets call 844-1935.

Auditions for Peter and the Starcatcher

Auditions for Tupelo Community Theatre’s season opening production of Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Elice with music by Wayne Barker will be Monday, help tadalafil June 20th and Tuesday, June 21st at 6:30 p.m. on the stage of the Lyric Theatre. The Tony-winning production upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). The wildly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels includes marauding pirates, jungle tyrants, unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes. Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair, and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love. The cast includes men and women 16 years of age and older. The production is a play with music, so everyone should be prepared to sing. No advanced preparation is needed, but a copy of the script is available upon request. Music, Monet, and Margaritas

The Lyric Krewe, try clinic Tupelo Community Theatre’s support organization, discount cialis sale will present their 13th Annual Street Fiesta, Music, Monet, and Margaritas, on June 11th from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. The event will be on Broadway in front of the Lyric and will include music by Jeff Houin and the Jam Band. and a silent auction of local artist’s work. Tickets are $25 and include food provided by Outback steakhouse and your first drink.\n\nWe need volunteers to help with set-up, gate, bar, food, or clean up, Work for two hours and enjoy the event on us! School’s Out Trivia Competition and Evening of Music

TCT Off Broadway will present School’s Out Trivia Competition and Evening of Music May 26th at 213 East Franklin. Doors open at 7 p.m. and trivia begins at 7:30 p.m. with teams of 5-10 people. Prize awarded to winning team and for best team name. Tickets are $15 and include one free drink. Tables may be reserved by teams by calling 844-1935.
