Auditions for Angel Street

Tupelo Community Theatre will hold auditions for Angel Street by Patrick Hamilton on April 9 and 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the rehearsal hall of the Lyric Theatre. Angel Street tells the story of the Manninghams, who live on Angel Street in 19th century London. As the curtain rises, all appears to be the essence of Victorian tranquility but their lives are not what they seem. The show calls for 2 men who are 30 and older and 3 women who are 20 and older. No advance preparation is needed but a copy of the script may be checked out. A British accent is preferred. Debby Gibbs will direct and production dates are June 14-16 at TCT Off Broadway. Auditions for Disney’s Lion King Jr

Tupelo Community Theatre will hold auditions for its summer youth production of Disney’s The Lion King JR. at the Lyric Theatre on April 30 at 6:30 for third grade through fifth and May 1 at 6:30 p.m. from sixth through ninth grade. Everyone will be required to sing and read from the script but no advance preparation is needed. Disney’s The Lion King brings the African savannah to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
