Love, Loss and What I Wore
TCT Off Broadway will present Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman , on July 20-22 at 7:30 p.m. at 213 East Franklin Street. The winner of the 2010 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience the play proves that a great show is always in fashion. With its compulsively entertaining subject matter the show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to, creating one of the most enduring theatergoing experiences domestically and overseas. Tickets are $20 each and a cash bar will be available. The play contains a limited about of language that some patrons may find offensive. Shrek The Musical Jr.
Tupelo Community Theatre’s will present its summer youth production of Shrek The Musical JR. on June 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. and June 24 @ 2 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway in downtown Tupelo. Everyone’s favorite ogre is back in this hilarious stage spectacle, based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film and outrageous Broadway musical. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and younger and may be purchased anytime by calling the TCT box office at 844-1935.
