PVT. WARS WINS AWARDS AT SETC

Tupelo Community Theatre’s production of PVT. WARS represented Mississippi at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Greensboro, find no rx NC March 2-7.\n\nPVT WARS won Outstanding Set Design, treatment Outstanding Light Design and Jamie Fair won an award for Outstanding Acting.\n\nThe production was the Mississippi Theatre Association Festival Winner for Best Production, try Over All Technical Excellence, Best Scenic Design, Best Ensemble, Best Actor for Josh Sullivan and All Star Cast for Jamie Fair and John McCustion.\n\nThanks to all our patrons and friends who helped us attend SETC!\n\n\n\n

Auditions for The Boys Next Door

NOTE-ONE ADDITIONAL NIGHT OF AUDITIONS ADDED\n\nTCT Off Broadway will hold auditions for The Boys Next Door by Tom Griffin on February 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the rehearsal hall of the Lyric Theatre. Production dates are April 7 and 8. Set in the Boston area, sale seek the play deals with four men with various mental disabilities who live in a group home. It takes place over roughly a two-month period and consists of brief vignettes about their lives. The adult cast is made up of 7 men and 2 women, ask ages 18 and older. TCT Scholarships

Scholarships
Tupelo Community Theatre offers four $500 scholarships each year to students attending Mississippi high schools and universities. Students must complete at least 12 hours each semester (or its equivalent if on the quarter system) and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. Details about each scholarship and the application form may be obtained at www.tct.ms . Applications must be received no later than April 15th. Recipients will be notified by June 1st.
