The Lyric Krewe was originally formed as the Lyric Guild in 1988. The Krewe is the fund-raising and volunteer support auxiliary
of Tupelo Community Theatre. Its membership is made-up of members of TCT and supporters of the dramatic arts. The Krewe
raises money annually through a variety of events such as Galas, fundraisers, bake sales, and special receptions before
and after our regular season performances. Most recently the Lyric Krewe sponsored a toy and fund-raising drive in connection with the Salvation Army Angel Tree drive.
In addition to its fund-raising activities, the Lyric Krewe also
provides volunteers for a variety of support activities from greeting patrons in the lobby, to assisting in setting up
for the Theatre's annual fund-raising dinner, to posting playbills to promote upcoming shows. Their presence is a vital one
in the life of TCT, and is much appreciated!
